The Knob V2 is absolutely superb. Smooth operating, easy to program with the new V2 VIA browser-based software, and mine was customized and rocking within 20 minutes (and I'm no programmer!). Wonderful customer support from Connor who was able to customize my Knob for my studio recording application (mine is exclusively controlling Metric Halo's Mio Console monitor controller software). Don't read too much into the 5 stars. There's literally just no reason for me to give any less. No idea how to program this thing but I know when I plugged it in it worked.
The smoothness of the rotation is something to be seen/felt to be believed. I've never had any device that spins like this. Super cool.
As for the buttons, they seem like real key caps and not 3D printed but you can't see a difference even in good lighting.
The top of the dial has noticeable 3D print lines but it's a non issue for me as it kinda just looks brushed. And speaking of which, if you told me the sides weren't 3D printed I'd believe you. It has this brushed aluminum look/feel to it. Very sturdy unit. I think if I had to recommend something I'd say for the cost, I'd throw in some optional rubber feet cause this thing slides around pretty easily.
I had bought the v1, that was a great product. I got v2 and it’s been improved in every possible way.
If you’re a creative in the market for a macro pad with a rotary knob, you need this. The large knob is incredibly smooth…,I’m super happy with the purchase and the team at BaseLineDesign is so responsive and nice. You can’t go wrong with anything from BaseLineDesign.

I originally didn’t like the 30 second clip so Connor completely changed the script and made a new etched QR code that more than exceeded my expectations.

I have used various knob devices in the past (including the Ploopy knob), and I was immediately impressed when I unboxed this device and began using it. The knob has an excellent heft so the device stays in place, even on a smooth work surface. The instructions for customizing and remapping the device are clear and exceptionally well written, with an excellent accompanying video to explain things.
I code and work in CAD all day, and the Knob has become an essential part of my workflow. A huge thanks to Baseline Design for making an incredible product. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what's next!
Don't be like me - scan the QR code that's in the (very nice) packaging! You'll need that info in order to get this device to customise the device in Via (usevia.app). Seller is incredibly responsive and helpful via discord. The encoder knob has a nice weight and feel to it.
I had an issue at first with my knob arriving damaged from shipping, but Connor was so responsive - he had me ship my damaged item back and within days I was sent another one in perfect condition. 10/10 would recommend purchasing from him. The knob is incredible and greatly increases my productivity at work.

Had no problem using the VIA interface to edit the JSON file and modify the knob to function as an infinite scrolling mouse wheel. Great build quality, easy config, fast shipping - stellar experience.
I'm shocked by how high quality and nice this feels. I largely purchased this for the knob to use as a scrolling device in conjunction with the SmoothScrolling application, which creates a really nice, pleasant, high-resolution-esque scrolling experience.
The hardware itself doesn't feel 3D printed or cheap at all. It's lovely, the magnetic knob scrolling feels lovely, the finish is beautiful. I really can't complain about this device at all.
